Update 18. 2022 Russia-Ukraine war — Cyber group tracker. September 7.
The #cybertracker is coming out on a monthly basis going forward, I did plan to release this version two weeks ago but I have been busy.
Some notes on this addition:
Pro-Russian groups now outnumber Pro-Ukraine groups. This is due to inactivity of several groups. I am working from public posts to validate activity — this does not mean those groups aren't still active, I just can’t see evidence of activity.
If any groups take issue with this they can easily be re-added.
Pro-Russian groups had a small civil war in August and several groups have now shut-down.
I was on the fence for some of the Pro-Russian groups in terms of inactivity so will review them in coming weeks.
It seems like many Pro-Ukraine groups are either now inactive, their social media accounts have been removed or they have shifted to a different campaign so are not activity targeting Russia.
I have added NAFO as they are gaining significant attention with both Pro-Ukraine and Pro-Russian communities.
